Each conference attendee must complete a separate registration form. Extra meals can be added for friends and spouses if desired.

  • The Registration Form will be available soon. Please read the following information so you know what to expect when you fill out the form and pay for your conference registration. You will want to decide the following:

    1. Am I going to do a Full Conference Registration for $200?
    2. Do I want to pay $65 extra for the Friday Premium Tours and if so, which one do I want to take? Note that the Friday Tours are NOT available unless a Full Conference Registration is purchased. These tours have EXTREMELY LIMITED SEATING and are not offered a la carte but as an Add-on to Full Registration only.
    3. Do I just want a Saturday Only ($115) or Sunday Only ($90) Registration?
    4. Do I want to take a Tour on Saturday? If so, what are my first, second, third and fourth choices (subject to availability).
    5. If I don’t want to take a Tour on Saturday, I can choose to go to a “Make It and Take It” workshop which runs in the morning and afternoon, lunch included. (Details below.)
    6. Sunday Education Classes run in three sessions with 4 classes available in each time slot. I need to decide which are my first, second, third and fourth choices for each time slot before I start the Registration Form.
    7. Is my non-MG or non-gardening spouse coming and if so do I want to buy some meals for him/her? (The conference is open to the public so if your spouse likes gardening, she/he should buy a ticket. Otherwise, meals can be purchased separately and he/she can ride go-carts all day.)
    8. Do I want a Conference T-shirt? (Obviously.)
    9. Do I want a Conference Apron? (Yes, you’ll want one. They are cool!)
    10. Do I want a special early registration deal to buy a T-Shirt AND Apron for a reduced price? (Probably.)
    11. Finally, do I want to register on line and pay by credit/debit card or do I want to fill out a paper form and send it in with a check?
  • The following is the agenda, still subject to some changes and updates. We’ll post complete tour schedules later and will notify registrants at that time. We’ll also have a printable/downloadable version once the schedule is written in stone.

    Note that the Friday tours to Crystal Bridges and Top of the Rock/Dogwood Canyon are Premium Add-ons and are not part of the Full Conference Registration. Friday Tour Option no longer available for purchase.

    For those of you who opt to skip the tours, we have arranged for 2 Workshops presented by Linda Whiting from Garden Adventures Nursery of Nixa.

    9:00 AM – 11:00 AM WONDERFUL LOTION FROM INFUSED OIL

    Using the herbs calendula and lavender, Linda will be showing the methods of infusing a carrier oil and then producing a wonderful soothing lotion which is great for the coming winter.

    Elderberry is one of the great native shrubs in Missouri and grows marvelously here. Linda will demonstrate the procedures for making syrup from these wonderful berries.

  • Start your Sunday with a short, optional worship service where you can praise God with others who love gardening and the Lord as much as you do. There will be plenty of time afterwards to get to your first educational class. However, you may want to grab breakfast beforehand.

  • We are thrilled to be hosting this year’s State Conference at the Chateau on the Lake Resort Spa & Conference Center.

    The rooms which were available at the rate of $109 have been sold out. You may still contact the Chateau and reserve a room. It is still the most convenient option.
